Rameshwaram Temple – The Holy Abode of Lord Shiva

Located on the very tip of Tamilnadu, is a island that is visited by millions of Hindu pilgrims all year long. This is the place where the famous Rameshwaram Temple is located. Counted as one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of the country, and a sacred abode of Lord Shiva, Rameswaram temple hold an important place among the Hindu pilgrims.

What makes this temple so popular among the Hindus is its association with the Lord Rama and Ramayana.
